Well it's 5:38 am. Here I am working hard through the night on my F15-ish fighter jet. Despite it's Monet-esque not-that-great-up-close quality, I'm really liking the way it's looking overall. I'm confident in the finished product. I'll more than likely get the model done today. In fact, I'm hoping to get some good progress on the textures too. I'll actually get some personal work on here for once!
It's now 5:42. It's been a sufficient break. Back to work!

Summer!
Whew! I made it through my Sophomore year at Ringling! They haven't beaten me yet!
I've now made it back home and gotten my computer all set up again. I'm ready and raring to go on personal work and trying to get a job! The past few days I've been working on my website. It's nearing completion.
I'll definitely post up a link here to the finished site and I'll likewise link back here from there.
In other news, I'm doing some personal work now! I've started a super duper short animation of Brock the construction worker wielding the new wrench I've given him. I'm also starting work on a fighter jet that, assuming it turns out well, I'd like to animate and composite into a short video in which it attacks my backyard.
That's all for now! Now that I'm not totally bogged down with school work, I'll try to post more often - hopefully with new work in-hand!

Oh right, that blog thing...
So... Alright, yeah, I totally did not do what I had intended. To be fair, I don't have a whole lot of work to show simply because the single projects take so long. BUT I will put up a couple of my latest things that I'm very proud of. I just finished the big ol' SIT/STAND animation recently! The planning process began way back in March LAST year doing animatics and such. I'm very excited about finishing it because it is my first attempt at conquering a full-bipedal character.
First, here was a "Take" - one of a few exercises I did a few months ago - just to play with the character and get a good feel for how to move him. So, without delay, here is the famed Brock!
Next up is the legendary Sit/Stand. It's a relatively simple assignment meant to familiarize us with Fk/Ik switching. I'm fairly proud of how it turned out, though I know there are a few things that I'm going to change at some point! Enjoy!

In other news, I only have a mere two and a half weeks left before Summer break! Very excited to be back in Minnesota. I'm hoping to get a job somewhere in which I could help out doing animation of some sort!
In blog news, now that work is slowly (keyword) starting to wind down, I should be able to ramp up my personal work and therefore more blog posts! I have a couple really fun ideas that I cannot wait to get started on. I think that I'll actually try to get some of the process up here so I can actually get some USE out of my blog!

Launch!
Well, I've finally brought myself to make a blog! After countless attempts to make one, hindered by lack of time, motivation, and a really witty name, I just decided to go for it. I found the time in the wee hours of the morning here, the motivation from an animated movie marathon, and the witty name? I decided I'd cleverly name it after myself. So here it is! Hopefully I'll keep up with the updates, blessing all of my wonderful fans with my latest and greatest!
